The OTs played Old Merchants Taylors on the Head on Sunday 11th July and won a close game by 3 wickets.
The OMTs batted first and scored 235 for 7. We were in a spot of bother at 80 for 4, but a match-winning partnership between James Pyemont and Jim Chaplin, both of whom scored fifties, swung the game our way. Despite losing both of them before the end, we were seen home by the captain, Jono Arscott, and the ever-dependable, Ali Owen-Browne.
Our semi-final opponents are the Bradfield Waifs, who we are playing on the Head on Sunday 25th July.
The final is at Richmond C.C. in Old Deer Park on Sunday 15th August.
