OTs will be sorry to hear that Gifford Wood died yesterday a few months short of his 100th birthday. He had been the 'senior' ex-member of Common Room for some time.
He taught Geography from 1946 to 1975, was housemaster of Welldon from 1959 to 1972 and commanded the School CCF.
Details of his funeral will be posted as soon as they are known.
