ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END..........

It wasn't just Australia and New Zealand who had a bad Saturday on the rugger field. Tonbridge took their three year unbeaten record to Epsom, new opponents this term, and came away on the wrong end of a 39-12 defeat.

The story of the game is that we went 12 points up but were pegged back by an interception try and went into the interval leading 12-7. This was followed by a scarcely believeable two further interceptions, which took Epsom into the lead. At this point our lads began to lose heart and ended up with a heavy defeat.

Oh, well, at least it takes the pressure off the rest of the season and they can now concentrate on playing rugby without worrying about that unbeaten run.
