STILL UNBEATEN!

The XV beat Dulwich 17-0 on Saturday to remain unbeaten with one match to go. It wasn't as clear-cut as the final score suggests though. Our first try was scored by left-wing James Short on the stroke of half-time following a set-move which sliced open the Dulwich defence, but it followed a lot of Dulwich pressure and at least two Dulwich knock-ons when in possible scoring positions.

The second half was scoreless until five minutes from time, when Short crossed for his second try. This effectively won the match but for good measure we added a penalty with the last kick of the game.

The final task is to beat Wellington at home this Saturday (9th December). They bring with them, as usual, an impressive reputation and spectators should be asssured of a good game.

Do come down and support 'our boys'!
