OT SPORTS NEWS

OT teams were in action in two sports on Saturday 19th March. The OT Football team, playing in the semi-final of the Arthur Dunn Cup for the first time, were up against the Old Etonians, leaders of the Premier Division of the Arthurian League. The OTs did well, but Eton's greater physical presence helped them to a 3-0 victory. They scored twice early on, and, although the OTs had the better of the second half, they didn't manage to convert their pressure into goals.

In the inaugural Hockey Festival on the new water-based astro at the school, two OT teams took on the 1st XI and a team put together by Jon Perris, the Master in Charge of Hockey. It was a round-robin event, and the 'senior' OT team, captained by Jono Arscott, (average age about 29!) emerged as the winners. The 50 players had an enjoyable afternoon and it is intended to repeat the event next year.
