The OTs having chosen to bat were 65-5 after twenty three overs and 110-7 after thirty three overs. However, a record(for the Cricketer Cup) eighth wicket stand of 60 between Ant Shales and Matt Barham enabled us to reach 190-8 off our full fifty overs. Three quick wickets by Olly Howick and a wicket by Charlie Hill saw the Friars struggling at 38-4, which followed by Mozza Holmes' four wickets and two run outs resulted in the Friars' dismissal for 104.

OTs 299 Olly Howick 105 Matt Banes 103 Chris Walsh 42

Old Cranleighans 245 Cope 81 Jamie Ford 5-33

Having lost the toss we were put in to bat on a good wicket and centuries by Olly Howiick and Matt Banes enabled us to set the Old Cranleighans a challenging target. However, although at one stage the OCs were threatening to score the required runs, two quick wickets when the score was in the hundred and nineties resulted in a loss of momentum. The remaining four wickets fell for fifty runs, and the OCs finished fifty four runs short of the target.
